Once MemberElink is set up, it pretty
much runs on auto-pilot. You provide the 'rules' for MemberElink
to follow (through the MemberElink Admin panel), and MemberElink
does the rest. It updates all the indexes whenever a new page
of content is added, it manages all the user and member resources.
MemberElink makes adding new content pages to your site extremely
easy. You can set up an unlimited number of content providers
and department managers, who can use the Admin panel to add
content into the areas that you assign to them.
Adding content is a simple matter
of either typing the text or cutting and pasting from widely
used programs such as Word and Notepad to MemberElink text
editor. Then, selecting any graphics you want to appear in
the content page. Again, you control or assign someone who
can add content pages, and where they can be added.
MemberElink solution includes all of the functionality of the
Event Manager. Membership functions are seamless integrated
into the Event Manager service. This allows you to differentiate
between members and non-members and also among different membership
levels.
MemberElink will run on almost any operating system with internet
connection. This means that MemberElink sites can be hosted
for as little as starting $30 a month. Check our different

There is a $20 monthly fee to have the merchant account feature
enabled for your MemberElink system using our preferred service
provider, PayPal,
a global leader in online payment solutions with 64 million
account members worldwide.
If you would like
to use your own credit card merchant account for processing
payments, rather than our preferred merchant account, we will
create a connection between your Internet gateway supported
by your credit card merchant account and MemberElink. Please

setup fees may be included for this integration.
The Administrator or members can access
site via ‘Login’ page. After typing in a username
and password, members are able to utilize tools such as change
their website color layouts, Add members, create events, manage
member directory, discussion boards, upload documents, print
barcodes, create newsletters, etc. Site administrators can
authorized others for higher levels of access to the ‘Administration
Tools’ area where the management of members, events,
and other website information are made available. Easy, form
based tools means that no programming or technical skills
required by the administrator for maintaining the website.
Client owns their data while content,
infrastructure and software tools is hosted and supported at
REI facility. All data is stored on secure servers professionally
managed by system administrators in REI resources. Besides the
website monitoring, the web server, directory server and the
database servers are monitored for their performance and resource
utilization to ensure that the system performance does not affect
availability and access to the website.
As part of the ongoing security practices,
system and web server logs are continuously checked to monitor
attempts for unauthorized access to the servers and the website.
Intrusion detection systems like Real Secure, Argus and custom
created scripts are currently in use at REI facilities. Also,
to ensure security of the website, timely patches to the operating
systems and the application software are applied to plug any
reported security vulnerabilities.
No. MemberElink is not designed for sites
that offer adult images. We do not license the software for
that type of application.
One month of free technical support and same version upgrades
is included with different MemberElink subscription packages.
Additional annual support and other development support can
be upgraded at any time.
